Moebachi DC is a DC based hibachi brand founded by Washington, DC native Keith Brown. What began as a passion for creating great food and unforgettable moments has grown into a community-centered brand known for great flavor, leading energy and an experience people remember.

Through pop-ups, catering, community events and private Moebachi at Home experiences, we serve our signature hibachi favorites including chicken, steak, shrimp, fried rice, Mo’Mein noodles and vegetables (The Kill Moe) along with premium selections that keep our customers coming back.

That is why Moebachi continues to support local families, schools, organizations, entrepreneurs and neighborhood events. Giving back is not a marketing strategy for us it is part of the responsibility that comes with building something in the community that shaped us.

Meet the Founder

Keith Brown is the founder and driving force behind Moebachi DC. As a Ward 8 native, chef and entrepreneur, Keith built Moebachi from the ground up with determination, creativity and a commitment to serving his community.

His goal has never been to simply sell food. He wants every Moebachi experience to feel personal, exciting and worth remembering while building a business that can create jobs, open doors and inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs.
